Over the past couple of years, we have seen such encouraging growth in our regular Bhagavad Gita study circles. Our Friday night Toronto sessions are currently running across two distinct tracks: BG 100–101 (Introductory & Foundational) and BG 200 (In-Depth Study). Alongside these fixed classes, we continue to hold flexible online and in-person sessions with those interested in spiritual growth around the world.
You can request to join either existing class below:
- BG 100–101 (Friday Nights): Introductory & Foundational👉 Express Interest in BG 100–101
- BG 200 (Friday Nights): In-Depth Study👉 Express Interest in BG 200
However, many of you have written in over the last few months sharing that our current Friday evening timing simply doesn’t align with your local time zone or work schedule.
While I cannot match every single schedule, I want to make these classes as accessible as possible while keeping my own commitments in balance. To help bridge the gap, I am considering adding a brand-new Friday morning slot.
Proposed New Time: Friday Mornings at 8:00 AM Toronto Time
Because Toronto observes Daylight Saving Time, the local time shifts between Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) in the summer and Eastern Standard Time (EST) in the winter.
Here is how 8:00 AM Toronto Time translates across different time zones throughout the year:
| Region / Major Hub | Summer (EDT) Time | Winter (EST) Time |
| US & Canada West Coast (PST/PDT) | Friday 5:00 AM | Friday 5:00 AM |
| UK & Ireland (GMT/BST) | Friday 1:00 PM | Friday 1:00 PM |
| Central Europe (CET/CEST) | Friday 2:00 PM | Friday 2:00 PM |
| India (IST) | Friday 5:30 PM | Friday 6:30 PM |
| Southeast Asia (SGT/MYT) | Friday 8:00 PM | Friday 9:00 PM |
| Australia East Coast (AEST/AEDT) | Friday 10:00 PM | Sat 12:00 AM (Midnight) |
Note: Since regions like India and Singapore do not observe Daylight Saving Time, the local class time shifts by one hour between summer and winter.
